At Q-Transport we have two 4 axle rigids that are contracted to two of the largest steel companies in Taranaki. We also have another 4 axle rigid used for deliveries in South Taranaki as far as Hawera, on a daily basis, and around the mountain on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also have tractor units and Hiabs available for longer and larger loads where necessary. We also have a facility to process and deliver parcel freight on a daily basis which we currently provide for a major overseas client.

When it comes to container transport in the Taranaki region and beyond we have a range of options perfectly suited for your goods and budget. We have three swinglifters capable of lifting 20' and 40' containers up to 36 tonne ex-port/rail. We also have flat deck trailers available for cartage of containers and a skeletal trailer for overweight containers. Our Waitara-based depot facility is a certified MAF approved transitional facility and is operated by staff trained to NZQA level qualifications.

We have a depot based in East Tamaki, Auckland. This facility allow us to linehaul and return general freight on a daily basis. Our aim, every time, is to have freight delivered door-to-door in a 24 hour time period, from the initial order to final delivery. We can also transport throughout other areas of the North Island on special occasions. The type of general freight we regularly transport includes steel, pipe, mesh, pallets, gas bottles and even chickens. We can cart almost anything.
